Biotech startup Aptus gets $30 Million funding

Sunnyvale based Aptus which makes devices to fix abdominal aneurysms took in $30 Million in third round funding from Heron Capital which led the round, which also included Longitude Capital, Oakwood Medical Investors, Baird Venture Partners, FirstMark Capital, Prism VentureWorks and US Venture Partners.     30M definitely is a big round. Medical trials and FDA approval take time and slow. Hopes this money lasts them for a while.
