Silicon Valley Blog was founded in summer of 2006 with the focus on ‘Covering Startups and Business of Technology’. Online application space is heating up with focus again on consumers and making web applications easy to use and rich. We will bring you news, interviews and analysis on interesting startups so that you are in the know. Silicon Valley Blog is edited by Vic Podcaster (Founder/Editor).
We are doing our bit to make your experience better by adding useful features to the blog while maintaining simplicity. I have always been a big fan of Google’s simplistic minimal design, and you will see the Google design hilosphy in the blog. We hope that you find that the content is easy to read and layout is pleasing to the eyes.

A little bit about us
Jitendra Mudhol contributes as a senior analyst and write on Mobile 2.0 and its impact on Social Networking. After having a lot of fun in the tech industry, Jitendra decided to go back to school for a second Masters. Most recently Jitendra went to Standford and currently Jitendra is having fun working on his MBA (part-time) from Santa Clara University. Vic Podcaster writes on Web 2.0 and hot startups. Vic got ‘Podcaster’ added to his name because he got into podcasting and was nicknamed ‘Vic Podcaster’ by his buddies. Vic has a Masters Degree in Computer Science and 3 startups under his belt with more than 15 years of tech industry experience. Vic likes to call it MBA in Startups. Some day Vic wants to go back to school to work on Zero Defect Engineering and maybe earn a PhD. Vic is currently working on an interesting startup idea which will be launching in September, 2007.
