Shared database MetaWeb gets $42M funding

MetaWeb is a San Francisco based startup company that has just gotten another round of funding from Benchmark Capital and Goldman Sachs to further its open shared database to share, edit and store the world's information.     After the success of Amazon's S3, I think it is the time to have more services like databases available. This is big untapped market.

    I will be awaiting anxiously for Amazon to announce a product in this space soon.
