iSkoot acquires Social.IM

VoIP provider and a startup iSkoot, who has friendly ties with carriers because it uses their networks for completion of its calls, is acquiring the social networking based IM provider Social.IM for an undisclosed amount of money. iSkoot provides Skype friendly phones too which use the EBay acquired company Skype's services.
