Startup iLike helps bands get the word out to fans
Seattle based music startup is using its base of 13 million registered users to help bands to get the word out to fans. It is about time the musicians and artists have more options to directly reach fans and potential customers without a middle man.
What is really funny that in this web 2.0 erra, major labels are still talking about sales of plastic (read CD's) going down and blaming the internet.
It is like horse drawn buggies demise being blamed on the Ford's T-Model.
Music and Entertainment market's realignment it long overdue and this time I guess the artist will be in the center, instead of being exploited and watching from sidelines.
