Earthmine to Index the Real World with 3D Panoramas

Earthmine is using a lot of techniques to bring the real world to you in 3D. Using methods like 'asset mapping' and real 3D images, Earthmine claims to provide much richer information and experience than Google Maps. (read full story at: techcrunch.com)

    Hmmm.... What am I missing here.

    As per the psot, "Ristevski claims that cities the size of San Francisco can be mapped in less than 30 days." Well than take a month, map the city and show us you could do better mapping then others.

    "Earthmine presented at DEMO this fall but has not released its product yet." I am loving this more and more, we can't see the product yet and they are supposed to beat Google's street view with $1 million seed funding.

    I will take them seriously when they have 3D mapped at-least one decent size city (not a Demo video or city block). Guys I love hype as much as the man next door, but seeing is believing.
