Facebook - Long Tail Rules
A really interesting post by Tim O'Reilly on the rise of Facebook as the application platform. As per this article, there are currently about 5000 applications for Facebook but 87% of the usage goes to only 84 applications with these applications being used by million of users. There seems to be many voices on the subject and posts in blogsphere. But one thing is for sure, the Facebook application phenomena is riding the long tail wave, whichever way you read the numbers.
