I like the part where Paul says that they still have only four people at Y-Combinator and that forces them to find innovative ways to get things done without hiring more people. Fun part is that they have scaled up their investments while keeping the team size of four.
Reading the article further, It is very smart of Y Combinator to demand of their startups to release small products.
Getting the users involved early in the game, letting the users decide the direction of product development is very smart. This will significantly reduce the chance of product failure, with focus on more iterative product development taking all the risk out.
