Google starting venture capital group

While sitting pretty on a cash pile of about $12.7 Billion dollars, Google is extending into the VC market with a big fund (amount unknown) and led by senior vice president David Drummond and entrepreneur William Maris to scour for the next big idea. (read full story at: blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com)
